The Idea

We didn’t want just a hardware or software project — we wanted to solve something real. After a rigorous Problem Definition and Elimination process, we started targeting common household problems and settled on food waste in fridges. Through a process of elimination and idea merging, we developed ShelfSync: a smart tracking system that blends sensors and software into a seamless solution for monitoring, managing, and maintaining the freshness of perishable goods in your fridge.

  5. Step 5: Server tracks location, weight, and expiration
  6. Step 6: User gets notified before the product expires
